I found this company via a Google search and reviewed the positive Yelp reviews. I then reached out to Steven and informed him that I was looking at a Used 2021 Infinit Q50. I looked at the car online, and it looked to be in good condition, but I wanted to make sure. I always buy certified used cars, so this would have been my first time using a service like this. Steve asked me if I had seen the car in person, and I informed him not yet. He said to me that as much as he would want my business, that I should really see the car in person first before paying him to do the inspection. At that moment, I knew I was dealing with a good person. After giving me some advice, I reached out to the dealership and saw the car that night. Though a nice vehicle, there was a defect that I was not willing to accept. Steven reached out later that night to check in with me on how it went. I informed him of the defect and sent him a picture. He called me and informed that the only way to properly fix that kind of defect would be via a body shop and would possibly be about a $5K repair. Though I did not have him complete a vehicle inspection, I wanted to take time to leave a review on how helpful he was. He did not try to hustle me, but instead took time out of his day to advise me, and I truly appreciate it. I will continue my car search, but I know that if I need to have a vehicle inspected prior to purchase, I will definitely reach out and utilize his service. I was looking across the country for a hard to find version of the Kia EV6. One with very low miles came available in St Louis (1500 miles away from where I live). However, the CARFAX showed that it had been returned from lease in Naples FL on Oct. 1 (right after the hurricane went through there). So, I needed somebody to thoroughly check out the vehicle quickly so I could decide if I was flying out to buy it or not. Steven did a fabulous job for me. Was interested in a particular 1979 Chrysler Cordoba and decided to call TDT to do an inspection of the vehicle. I knew the car had some problems, but needed a 2d opinion. I hired Steven to inspect a used pickup truck for me prior to purchase and it was one of the smartest adult things I have done. I know nothing about engines or vehicles. I am looking for a reliable truck to tow a camper around the country I wanted to be sure of what I was buying. The truck looked good and I even test drove it with no issue. An inspection is the wisest decision anyone could make when buying a used RV. We were fortunate to find Steve that made himself available to inspect our coach, which represented to him a six hour drive to get to the location. He was able to accommodate to our tight schedule. They were thorough and were able to identify issues that we would have not been able to identify by ourselves. Their attention to details was superb. They checked everything; they spent hours going over each area, equipment, roof, buttons, switches, windows, doors, ensuring everything worked. In addition, they took samples of various liquids that were sent to the lab, which gave us information of the things you don’t see in the engine and generator. Furthermore, they asked the owner to take the coach for a test drive while he instructed the owner to test all the system as the coach was en route. Also, they perform a thorough computer test of the engine after the test drive. While Steve was performing a thorough inspection of the coach, his wife was either taking notes or testing all the appliances, equipment, lamps, etc. Steve and his wife, Christina, work so well as a team. They gave us peace of mind and a thorough report which listed everything they checked and the condition, including many pictures of all the issues they identified.
